Pre-concert festiivities will begin at 3pm, including a complimentary film screening of "Maoli
No - Truly Native", presented by the Nature Conservancy.  Hawai`i's spectacular native forests,
ecosystems and wildlife provide the backdrop and inspiration that exhibit the inseparable and
sacred connections between Hawai`i's unique native environment and culture such as hula.  
Narrated by Robert Uluwehi Cazimero, the film features songs and chants by beloved artists
such as Israel Kamakawiwo`ole, Genoa Keawe, Kekuhi Kanahele, HAPA, the Brothers Cazimero,
Keola Beamer, Dennis Kamakahi and others.  Enjoy live Hawaiian music entertainment and
impromtu hula...Guests, friends and anyone moved to hula are invited to join in on the fun!  A
Pa`ina serving up delicious Hawaiian & Vegetarian Dishes, Desserts and Refreshments will
satisfy your cravings...Door Prizes, Halau TShirts & Logo Wear and a Fresh Flower Lei Stand
with fragrant and vibrant lei to celebrate the occasion too!

5:30pm  `AHA HULA 2009 -- A HULA KAHIKO CONCERT
Enjoy this rare opportunity to experience Sacred Chants & Classical Dances unique to the hula
traditions of Kaua`i and Hawai`i Nei.  Presented by Kumu Hula, Kehaulani Kekua and Halau
Palaihiwa O Kaipuwai - a traditional halau hula founded in 1945 by the late hula master, Helen
Kaipuwai Kekua Waiau.
Advance ticket purchases include a Hawaiian Kalua Meal or Vegetarian Meal served until 5pm.  Please make
your selections below.  All tickets purchased on-line will be held at Will-Call at the event gate.  Tickets are
non-refundable.  This is a drug-free and  non-alcoholic event.  Tickets purchased at the gate on the event day
will NOT include a meal.  Keiki (Children) 12 & under are free.
