Oli: Art of Hawaiian Chant
The rich oral traditions, history and culture of
ancient Hawai`i is perpetuated through mele
(poetry/song) and oli (chants).  Beginning and
intermediate classes to be offered in the Fall of
2010. No experience required for beginner's
course.  



Stewardship Programs
Join us for opportunities to mälama `äina or give
back to the land by participating in one of our
stewardship programs.  




Hi`iaka: Journey of a Goddess
Check back soon for details of a new class that
will explore the epic saga of Pelehonuamea,
goddess of fire and volcanoes and her sister,
Hi`iakaikapoliopele.  History, chant, ceremonies,
protocol and legendary places on Kaua`i directly
linked with this mo`olelo are some of the many  
highlights that will be covered in this exciting
course.

`Aina`ike Cultural Programs
Pure cultural experiences embodying the spirit
and soul of Hawai`i Nei are now available
through a myriad of program offerings.
Ho`oulu Hawaiian Lecture Series
The profound importance of Wailuanuiaho`ano,
Kaua`i is the focus of the 2010 Ho`oulu Hawaiain
Lecture Series. Free programs and
accompanying workshops are held monthly.  
The series runs from January - October 2010.
